The last sentence is the best: "A 17-year-old was left at a Lincoln hospital Tuesday night, making him the 23rd child abandoned since the law took effect in July." What in the world?
WHAT?!?! This throws me off, too. Hard to believe, really.
Wow. My mouth is open right now. I'm not sure what to say, except that it's really sad . . . and it makes me a little scared to have teenagers!
