What to do while Davey is gone

So Davey went to Michigan on Friday
for the Michigan vs. Utah football game.
We even went to a party at our friends
house last night. I set Henry inside their
house when we got there and forgot and
about 20 minutes later went in and he was just
chillin.

I had to wake Henry up at 12:50 today. Seriously.
Never had a kid sleep that late. Total party animal.
He went to bed at 10:00 PM

Went to the zoo. That is our cousin

Had a picnic in our yard. Charlotte
insisted we have a blanket.


Went for a dip in the hot tub. I know they are smiling
but really, they were fighting and screaming every
2 seconds.

floor is white and has some stains
and so it drives me CRAZY!

Can't touch this

So I have had a love for MC Hammer for many years. Almost 11 years ago David and I went on a cruise with my family and we always do karaoke. I chose to do "Can't touch this". When you are singing the song it feels like the song is about 30 minutes long. Today I downloaded some ring tones for my phone for the first time and I had to get "can't touch this". I am very excited and I am hoping David will figure out how to set it up for me before he leaves to Michigan tomorrow.

Henry gets rug burn

This morning we were getting ready to go to the zoo and Charlotte was playing with Henry. He was laughing, I thought all was well. I periodically yell "please be careful with him" as I rush around. David mentions in passing that Henry got rug burn on his head from Charlotte pulling him around his room by his feet. I forget about it and we head off to the zoo. Later at the zoo I take him out of his car seat and notice a large red area with a scab starting. I mention it to Charlotte and she just says "I already knew about it"

Why I cannot buy an American girl doll

Charlotte has quite a few dolls and most of them are very nice dolls. The large one is a $60 while the other 2 are about $20 a piece. The other day I found these dolls had been colored on. Not sure what the drawing was, my friend lindsey figured it out.....boobs. Really? oh my goodness, they are no longer babies I guess. I asked Charlotte about it and she got embarassed and then admitted that I was right. Wow.

Simon is always coming up to me and saying
"mommy, I love you so much"
I always think he is so sweet when he says this
Yesterday he says it and then says to me
"what does I love you mean?"

Later in the day Charlotte and Simon are arguing
about something and she threatens him by saying
"if you do that again I am going to pinch your nipples"
(She must have heard me threaten David)
Simon then lifts up his shirt and says
"come here Charlotte, pinch my nipples like this, so hard"

As I am writing this Simon just ran up to me saying he was scared.
I asked him why and he responded
"I am scared Charlotte is going to pinch my nips"
To which Charlotte responded
"you will like it, I will do it really soft"
Not sure what the nipple obsession is.

The day in the life of Henry Stoker

Often we will put Henry in the bumbo outside
on the deck and go inside to do something and he
is content to hang out and watch the trees. He
usually is moved around shortly after. Two days
ago he was in his Bumbo and Davey found him
outside apparently in a box being pulled around
by a dog leash. He is so mellow tempered that
he doesn't mind most of the time.

Bad Hair Day

So I have been wondering lately if I should
cut my hair shorter, add more layers, etc. I came
across this and decided no matter how bad
my hair is, it will never be this bad. The title
of this picure is "is that a backpack in your hair
or are you just excited to see me" hahaha. It really does
look like a backpack. That is one large dread, Bob
Marley would even be impressed. Really wonder
if it is laziness or if this was on purpose.

Naming a webkinz

Charlotte and Simon both got $5 from my parents for their
birthday in a duffle bag my mother made for each of them.
They were both wanting to buy a Webkinz with their money.
A couple days ago I went with David's sisters shopping and
one of the stores had Webkinz for $5 if you spent a certain
amount. His sister Jen qualified and so we all got some
Webkinz. Simon picked out a frog and Charlotte got a panda.
Charlotte quickly named her panda "Daisy" Simon had a
harder time. First it was "Data" then it was "Poy" then he
considered "Mountains" I suggested "hopper" which was
quickly dismissed. A while later he came up with "Froggio"
Charlotte asked him what the middle name was and without
hesitation "Piazzio" Apparently the frog is from Italy "Froggio Piazzio"
